You can have the most fantastic makeup but if you aren’t comfortable with your tools then your results might vary. I take my brushes pretty serious & I have more than anyone could need. I’ve been hearing so much buzz about the Beauty Junkees brushes that I knew I had to check them out for myself. First I want to talk about the Kabuki Set because I’m a sucker for great kabuki brushes. I love brushes that are super soft, high quality, & being affordable is also a major plus. Beauty Junkees…did this set live up to the hype? Keep reading to find out!
Buy Any 1 Kabuki Brush for $11.97, or get the set of 5 Brushes with a FREE Travel Brush Holder for an AMAZING low price (value $84.85). Brush Cup Holder measures 3.5″ DIA X 8.75″ H. This is a limited time offer. See my discount code at the end of my post!
So first off- these come in a nice case. In fact, these are my favorite kind of brush cases. When I travel I use them as two separate brush cups & even throw in mascaras, liners, etc. Then when it is time to go- you just put them on one side & button up. Super handy! According to the site this is a limited time offer though- so keep that in mind if you’re planning to wait!
This particular set comes with 5 kabuki brushes. Who needs 5? Well they all are cut differently which means they apply products differently. Each brush is made with high-quality synthetic bristles, my personal favorite. I love a soft, dense face brush for application & blending.
BRISTLE PERFECTION – The key to great makeup brushes are the bristles. Our Kabuki Brushes are made from high quality synthetic bristles that won’t leave fur on your face. The bristles are soft, yet just the right density to pick up and distribute cosmetic product evenly. Applies and blends like a dream! You will love how soft the bristles are even for the most sensitive skin, and cleaning is a breeze.
UNIQUE VERSATILITY – Beauty Junkees Kabuki Brush Set was designed for multitasking for fast and easy makeup applications. The dense bristle head works exceptionally for any kind of base including BB cream, liquid foundations, powdered minerals, and setting powders too. Perfect for stippling, buffing, blending, contouring, and finishing. Get smooth, streak free coverage and touch up perfection every time.
Each brush in the set comes with the name on the handle which I actually really prefer. I can also vouch for the softness of each brush. The set has zero duplicates- they’re definitely each different.
The best-selling brush in the set is this Flat Top Kabuki Brush. Perfect for stippling & buffing- the flat top easily covers a lot of area on the face as well. The foundation doesn’t really “sink into” the brush either so you might find yourself using less products!
Not too big or too small- this Angled Kabuki Brush is just right. The softened shape really lends itself to blending blush. I like to stipple it on a bit then blend out the color. Also nice for highlighting & blush toppers!
The Flat Angled Kabuki Brush is definitely one of my favorites- especially for foundation & adding bronzer. I find that this shape really gets into the hard-to-reach spots like along the nose. You get the angled aspect for control & the flat top shape for effortless buffing.
The Round Kabuki Brush is commonly used for mineral makeup. The brush head grabs just enough powder without the product flying everywhere. Blending & buffing made easy.
Another favorite brush is the Tapered Kabuki Brush. This is my absolute favorite shape for blending out concealer & other creamy products like bronzer or highlighter. I usually apply concealer with my fingertips to warm up the product for blending then use the tapered end to buff into the skin.
Another favorite thing about Beauty Junkees? You can return items for a full refund- no questions asked. Now that’s confidence! I also have a discount code! Take 25% off a single brush or brush set with the code ALLTHING. This code expires on 2-29-2016 so use it while you can!
What’s your favorite type of brush? Have you tried Beauty Junkees brushes? Have you tried a brush case like this? Because these kind are my very favorite!
